It’s a damn shame to change your style just because mainstream music would say it’s ‘cool,’ but apparently being 7 years old, dressed in black from head-to-toe, dolled up with eye-liner while holding up the rock sign would say otherwise. Good thing Congress Theatre was jam packed with a wide variety of ages during the My Chemical Romance show last Thursday, because if not, the concert would have been classified as a MTV’s My Super Sweet 16 minus nine years. Cloverfield burst in the theaters this past January as an old school horror film with a modern style twist. Its Blair Witch Project camerawork along with its Godzilla like monster in New York post 9/11, created a perfect blend of style, fear, and a little CGI to help refresh the modern horror flick.
