So, Lumbergg (“Office Space”) made you turn in those TPS reports on the first day post weekend. What a shame! Thankfully, Fizz has the perfect remedy to cure your case of the Munday’s – a $5 burger, fries and Blue Moon. Ah, doesn’t the sound of that just make your mouth salivate?

Dim lighting and plasma TVs showing sports – does it get any better? You can take your lady friend there – as it is semi romantic, yet you can still catch every second of the big game. What a deal! Also, when the weather is warm, Fizz has one of the best outdoor patios the city has to offer – full of oversized chairs for your little (big is Ok, too) to snuggle into and enjoy the city’s fresh air. The friendly wait staff makes the experience even more enjoyable.

CROWD

Well, I’m there on most Monday nights, so the crowd has to be at least a little entertaining, right? On Mondays, unfortunately, the bar is fairly empty, but that’s because alcoholic nation is still in resting stage on most Mondays. On weekend, Fizz packs the house and offers singles many different options for a successful interaction.

ENTERTAINMENT / EVENTS

Check out the Web site for entertainment options – as Fizz offers different styles of dancing in its upper level room. I hear salsa and swing are pretty popular (I was born with two left feet – well unless I have a few drinks in me – so, haven’t really experienced the dance floor).

SPIRITS

The $5 burger and Blue Moon should state it all, but Fizz offers many different drinks for every type of drinker. There are even multiple specialty beers for you to choose from.

GRUB / PRICES

The burgers are great and so is the pretzels. The menu is pretty stacked and provides many different options for the lunch and dinner crowds at decent prices. Nights when Fizz has specials are probably your best bet for a cheapo meal. The drinks are reasonably priced and you can usually find a pretty good special, including $1 beers on certain evenings.

WHY IT’S UNIQUE

Good food, good drinks, good people, good atmosphere. You can find all of these qualities all over the city, but finding them all nestled under one roof can be time consuming. Venturing to Fizz is a no brainer if you are looking for an enjoyable, affordable experience. Hey, and tell them Lumino sent you – maybe that price tag will drop even more.
