Zombonie’s offers the best place in Forest Park to watch a sporting event, as TVs plaster the walls and sports memorabilia makes the bar more legit. The atmosphere is also not your typical crowded bar scene – like most bars in FP – rather it is laid back and chill.

CROWD

Again, watch out for the cops, cause this is one of their top hangouts. Often, an on duty cop will even stop in to slap some high fives while keeping a watchful eye on the bar.

ENTERTAINMENT

If I could figure out a way to write the ESPN theme song noise I would insert it here. And, there are video games for added entertainment.

GRUB

Yum. Fried and greasy. Am I drunk now? The food is fairly priced and perfect for a chill, relaxed night while enjoying the world’s best sporting events. I do love the poppers.

SPIRTS

Great beer selection and plenty of offerings of shots.

PRICE

On par with every other bar on the stretch, but if you make friends with a cop, then you may be able to cut yourself a sweet deal (I can’t name names, but thanks dude!)

WHY IT’S UNIQUE

It’s clean, it’s sharp, it has sports all night long and the food is good. You find a place that offers me all of that, and I will be more than willing to test it out.
