The new kid on the block may also be the baddest. While Brazzaz is indeed the newest churrascaria in the neighborhood, it might also be the best. Brazzaz has found success mixing elements of Brazilian culture with our own to create a phenomenal dinning experience for Chicagoans.

Brazzaz
539 N. Dearborn
Chicago, Ill.
(312) 595-9000
ATMOSPHERE

Formal, yet comfortable; Brazzaz is just dripping with elegance, a truly classy place. Enjoy the fine art sculptures around you and be enveloped by the warm crisp tones. The lunch crowd is usually a little more dressed down if that's more your style, but you can't beat taking a date here for dinner.

CROWD

The large crowd here comprised mostly by those seeking a romantic night out, but there are fair shares of business types, and families out celebrating. Though there is not a real dress code, do yourself the favor of dressing up a bit, you will feel better and fit the restaurant's style.

SPIRITS

Brazzaz offers a full bar as well as a phenomenal list of wines served by the glass or by the bottle. If you are having trouble picking one out, your waiter will be glad to help.

GRUB

Well first, there is a gargantuan salad bar that has much much more than salad on its docket. You could seriously make your meal here, but then of course you would be missing out on the best that Brazzaz has to offer. The delectable spit roasted meats, shrimp, sausages, and pineapples. All of which come with a compliment of creamy mashed potatoes, crispy fried polenta, cheese biscuits, and fried bananas. The meat though! Succulent, savory meats paraded around by gauchos willing to carve a bit off for you time and time again. You can eat to your hearts' desire (or cholesterol limit). Then there is dessert; plenty of rich yet light offerings to compliment the bevy of meat that will surely be sitting in your tummy.

PRICES

Well, Brazzaz is a bit pricier than your average night out, but you will definitely get your money's worth out of it. The base cost is about 40 bucks per person and then factor in wines and dessert. However, there are cheaper lunch options (about half the cost with all of the bang) as well as early bird specials.

WHY IT'S UNIQUE

Brazzaz is bringing the phenomenal Brazilian steakhouse dinning experience to the masses while still maintaining its integrity. While some might say that one churrascaria is no different from the next, I must object. Some others have felt a little impersonal and rushed, Brazzaz has no doubts about making you feel comfortable and at home, letting the patron linger between courses and long after the meal is actually done. An exquisite dining experience for everybody, Brazzaz is simply the best. À nossa saúde!
