Buckcherry, a band that has suffered through a reincarnation of sorts, has released its new album entitled 15, referring to the fact that it was recorded in just 15 days.

This is not an album that you want to have a candlelight bath to, unless the bath involves three naked girls splashing the candle wax on each other. The hard sound slaps you in the face from the first notes of the opening track and continues all the way through, allowing the listener only a brief respite during the ballad "Sorry." Lead singer Josh Todd’s gravel and rock voice is the perfect compliment to the barroom blues guitars of co-writer Keith Nelson. Most notable on the album are tracks like "Next 2 You," "Everything," and "Crazy Bitch," a rhythmically catchy song that could crack a smile on the face of even the most badass of feminists. "15" will keep your attention from beginning to end and is a must-have on a long summer road trip. |
