Getting the crowd to “pump it… LOUDER!” was no feat for the Black Eyed Peas, who recently entertained the masses at the Aragon Ballroom as part of the 6th annual Honda Civic Tour. Highly anticipated each year, the Honda Civic Tour is this time taking the Black Eyed Peas along with opening act The Pussycat Dolls through 35 cities nationwide.

Ever full of energy, the Black Eyed Peas broke out favorites such as “Let's Get Retarded” and “Hey Mama” from 2003's “Elephunk”, the popular hip-hop hit record that introduced vocalist Stacy "Fergie" Ferguson who joined the group in '03. Though some songs seemed to last longer than necessary, Fergie, along with will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo, managed to keep their sold out crowd dancing and singing along for their entire 20 song set that lasted nearly two hours. The absence of celebrity collaborators from Monkey Business didn't keep the Peas from slowing it down for popular favorites such as “Where is the Love”, which featured Justin Timberlake both on album and in video. Complete with a political moment introducing the song, fans waved their cell phones lighting up the Aragon throughout the chorus.

Stealing the spotlight, as she has easily done since her introduction to the group, Fergie's diamond studded jumpsuits and hats were just the right amount of bling to match her fake eyelashes and glitter eyeshadow. Still, apl.de.ap showed extreme pride with his Mexican flag clad wardrobe, while will.i.am kept it real with top hats and extra-flair suit pieces.

The nearly 30-minute mid-show break with overdone beat boxing and snippets from other artists' of old school favorites, gave each member of the quartet their time to shine on stage and show off their dance moves. However, don't fret before we knew it the catchy hip-hop tunes were back with “Monkey Business” hits such as “Don't lie” and “My Humps”.

The Black Eyed Peas delivered their hits live with the same amount of booty dancing, catchiness and energy seen in their videos on MTV. Selling out their first headlining tour, the group is ready to continue bringing on the hits but how soon before Fergie dances herself into a solo career?

The Pussycat Dolls were the perfect openers with their own combination of old school burlesque, sexy costumes and just the right amount of energy to prepare the crowd for the main attraction.
