August 3-9
Various waterfront areas
Chicago, Ill. |
| | | More than 20 wind-powered ships sailed into Chicago on August 3 and dropped anchor all around the city. They can be seen on the Chicago River, at Navy Pier and the DuSable Harbor, among other places.
Visitors to the Tall Ships display will get a glimpse into the 1800s when they watch boat parades and tour the old-fashioned vessels. Powered by AkoComment 2.0! |
