From the outside, in, this place is playing it’s theme up to the fullest. Sultan’s features comfy booths surrounding the counter and salad bar, all decorated in gold’s, reds, and sandy shades. From the intricate carvings to the hanging decorations, they’ve really done a great job of keeping it all together without over doing it.

CROWD

Plenty of hip, young people just like you are hanging out at Sultan’s. Go there to meet up with the artsy neighborhood types and mingle.

GRUB

Sultan’s has an extensive menu of sandwiches and entrées to choose from, including grilled chicken, Falafel, sandwiches, kabobs and much more. Before you even get to the counter to order, make sure you pick some items up from the salad bar (I absolutely love how fresh their veggies are and the grape leaves are out of this world). Home made soups will round off any meal, I HIGHLY recommend the lentil soup, you won’t find it better anywhere. The food is out of this world, I really can’t do it the justice it deserves in this small space; go check it out for yourself.

PRICES

The prices are rock bottom. Cheaper than fast food and faster too. Most entrées are big enough to share and the sandwiches can be filling on their own, most running under 5 dollars each.

Close to the train and everything you’d ever want to do in the city, Sultan’s pulls off a trifecta: A great atmosphere, affordable prices, and great middle eastern foods converge at Sultan’s Market to provide a meal fit for any king. Eat like royalty at pauper’s prices and feel good doing it.
