Santa, helper help Lumino support "New Leash" |

If you weren’t at the Abbey Pub in Chicago over the weekend then you missed out. Lumino Magazine’s “Jingle Your Bells” Christmas concert on December 15-16 was a great success with 11 bands and a comedian to boot. Along with great music that included a special solo performance by Local H’s own Scott Lucas, Santa and his helper came out to support “New Leash On Life”.

If you don’t know about New Leash On Life, then get informed. They are an organization dedicated to animal rescue in Los Angeles and Chicago. The Chicago chapter was started last year and is attempting to reduce the numbers of dogs being euthanized each year. It’s an organization that is all-volunteer and that means every dollar goes where it should go.
With that in mind, Santa Claus and his "little helper" were on hand to take pictures with the concert-goers. Each photo raised money for the little doggies and we at Lumino Magazine are happy to be supporting New Leash on Life.
