Don’t let the sign with bad witch from Snow White fool you. Delilah’s is a very friendly place.

ATMOSPHERE

The first floor gets quite crowded and smoky on the weekends, with stools lining the bar, a few tables, and one comfortable couch towards the back. Art pieces from local artists decorate the dark walls giving a cozier and artsy feeling to this rock ’n’ roll bar. The upstairs has recently been remodeled offering extra space for hanging out or playing pool. (Note -> Punk Rock Monday offers $1 beers and free pool).

CROWD

Delilah’s is mostly populated by late 20s to early 40s year old hipsters, yuppies, and above all, rock fans. The dress tends to be on the edgy and confident side, including lots of visible tattoos. While the upstairs crowd tends to hang around the pool table or pinball machine, the downstairs folks seem to be more focused on drinking, meeting new people, and hanging out with friends. Delilah’s crowd seems to know exactly what they want to hear, see, drink, and smoke as if they have been hanging out there forever.

ENTERTAINMENT / EVENTS

The bar has a daily music schedule of guest DJs spinning the best of punk rock, rock, pop, glam, metal, ska, soul, and country except on Fridays and Saturdays where the juke box is the main feature. Even the owner, Mike Miller, will spin his favorites such as Elvis, Brian Wilson, and Joe Strummer. On Friday January 26th, myself (aka)DJ Vanessa and DJ Tony will feature a night dedicated to the music of Radiohead. The televisions are always on, broadcasting live rock concerts, independent films, English premiership football, and the American football of the Buffalo Bills. Delilah’s is definitely not the type of bar where you will want to stay only for one drink and go.

SPIRITS

Delilah’s huge selection of alcoholic beverage is obvious as they are displayed right in front of you, at the bar. One of the bar’s signatures is the very large selection of whiskey, scotch, and bourbons plus many imported beers, including Belgium specialties such as Trappist, Leffe, Lambic, and Duvel.

PRICES

Average drink price at Delilah’s is $4 with daily beer and whiskey specials.

WHY IT'S UNIQUE

DJs spinning rock ‘n’ roll at loud volumes and the vast selection of alcoholic beverages best characterize Delilah’s. The bar also offer private party reservations, art openings, special events, live bands, and beer and liquor tastings. Add an exceptionally nice and knowledgeable staff and bartenders who are quick to serve and even willing to strike on a conversation. No bar hopping needed. Delilah’s offers a full night out.
