Ring in the New Year with a twang. Print E-mail

Champagne in the city? Puh-leeze. How cliche. This New Year’s Eve, there’s something much cooler, much countrier and a helluva lot less stuffy. It’s a chance to say so long to 2007 with Nashville’s hottest country hitmakers by your side.

US99.5’s Miller Lite New Year’s Eve Ball
12/31/07 at 8pm
Tinley Park Convention Center
18501 S Harlem Ave
Tickets available at www.us99.com
Keith Anderson, Luke Bryan and Bucky Covington will hit the stage at the Tinley Park Convention Center to rock every country fan from the north ‘burbs all the way down to the south side. And the bar’s wide open until midnight. So you can get your fill of free beer, wine, bubbly and mixed drinks all night long. The casino room will be open, too, if you want to place your bets on the perfect 2008. And if you think you’re the next big star, check out the Karaoke Lounge while you’re there.

Known for his full-on rock ‘n roll live show, Anderson’s poised to be the next big thang in country music. And there’s nothing this singer/songwriter loves more than a rowdy Chicago crowd. "When you pour your heart out into a piece of music and have fans sing that back to you? There's nothing that feels that good," Anderson told Lumino. His much-loved hits from his gold album include “Pickin’ Wildflowers,” “XXL,” “Everytime I Hear Your Name” and his latest release “I Still Miss You.”

Georgia native Luke Bryan is new to country, but his first single “All My Friends Say” shot straight to #5 on the charts. And the Chicago Tribune just named his debut album one of the top five country albums of the year. For all the American Idol addicts out there, Bucky Covington will also be on hand to play his already-famous stuff like “A Different World” and newer songs from his debut album.

If your New Year’s resolution is to love live music, grab a friend, grab a couple tickets, and make this New Year’s Eve the one you’ll never regret.

I'll be there for Bucky. I've been a fan from the very beginning and he has never disappointed: from his live appearances to his cd to his videos, this is your next great country star!
