The Rookie Saves The Day for 24 Fans Print E-mail

If you are a TV junkie like me, then you were well aware of the writer’s strike that started last year and continued until last month. So aware that even now with it over it’s still affecting your life. One of the many shows that were a casualty of the strike was the TV show 24. Originally to have aired on the 13th of January, 24’s seventh season is postponed until next year. This is so they can air the series uninterrupted. Which is the only way I would want to watch it, but what do I do now for a whole year? Well if you need your 24 fix sooner than later, Fox has a solution for you. For the next month, Degree Men® presents The Rookie: Day 3 Extraction.

The Rookie is six episodes of the further adventures of American Counter Terrorism agent, Jason Blaine. Some of you 24 fans may have remembered his first appearance a few years ago when they aired his rookie adventures Day 1 and Day 2, in preparation for Season 3. Well agent Jason Blaine is back and this time he is in Mexico with the style and feel that is everything you’ve come to expect from 24. Even down to the split screens and soundtrack.

If all of this isn’t enough look for the acting debut of football superstar Chad Johnson playing the part of Agent Ocho in chapters three and four. Each episodes are only about 3 minutes long so pay attention otherwise you might miss him.

So get on your computer, grab a Degree Men deodorant (hey it’s the sponsor what can I say), and watch the first installment of The Rookie: Day 3 Extraction. You might have to wait for Jack Bauer but Jason Blaine is on the job to help ease your pain, at least for a month.

Check The Rookie on Comcast On Demand, DirectTV or online at www.fox.com/24/degreerookie/index.htm
