Held at the Merchandise Mart (222 Merchandise Mart Plaza) this 16th annual art fair showcases over 180 galleries representing over 2,000 artists from around the world. The show goes from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. this Friday through Monday.
Foodies will not want to miss the Globe Pub’s (1934 W. Irving Park Rd) Chili Cook-Off event. All are welcome to join in and while there is no entry fee for just a five-dollar donation you can sample each of the contestant’s recipes. The winner gets to keep half the money collected while the other half goes the local Fire Department charity fund. The cook-off starts at noon on Sunday so arrive early and be the first to eat.
