Rothbury Festival is in Rothbury, Michigan at Double JJ Ranch and is making a point to stand out and not be one of the many musical festivals that have sprouted this summer. Rothbury Festival will offer more than just good music and tasty treats, they will offer options like horseback riding and an 18-hole golf course as well. Yes, they will be for an additional fee but come on this sounds like a blast.

Rothbury is also determined to be a zero-waste festival, AEG Live and Madison House Publicity are giving back to the community and attendees with eco-friendly programs. Through an educational discussion panel with leading pioneers in planet friendly initiatives, Rothbury strives on educating concert go-ers with the importance for clean energy and the impact of climate change. In addition, the Energy fair will highlight new technology and artistic creativity with re-used materials that will be available for purchase.

But the uniqueness doesn’t stop here. If you like camping, campers have the option to live like kings for the weekend and rent out one of the forty log homes and cabins on site, attend daily yoga therapy, featuring special guests Michael Franti (Michael Franti and Spearhead) and Amanda Palmer (Dresden Dolls), and star in their own show by pre-signing up to be part of the open mic stage. Participants will be highlighted in the festival program and given the chance to perform on stage.
