The CBS News program 60 Minutes has been on top of their game since 1968. It was only natural in the year they were celebrating the 40th anniversary, they were right inside on one of the most historical Presidential elections in US history. Barack Obama has become the 44th President of the United States and 60 Minute was there to capture it all.

60 Minutes Presents: Obama: All Access is just that, a collection of interviews, speeches and exclusive interviews with Obama and his wife. Reported by 60 Mintutes correspondent Steve Kroft, it includes six segments that were broadcast on 60 Minutes including the first interview after wining the Presidency. In addition, the DVD contains some pivotal moments from the campaign. These include the announcement as a candidate as an Illinois senator in Springfield, Illinois. The powerful speech Sen. Obama delivered on March 18, 2008 in Philadelphia at Constitution Center where he addressed the role of race in the presidential campaign. Obama’s historical foreign policy speech in Berlin, Germany on July 24, 2008, where he addressed criticism from the Republican candidate John McCain on his inexperience in foreign policy. His acceptance of his Presidential nomination at the Democratic Convention in Denver, CO. His Victory speech in Chicago’s Grant Park and his Inaugural Address in its entirety.
The DVD has a little bit of everything. If that isn’t enough, the disc also includes some exclusive outtakes that were originally omitted for time from the 60 Minutes interviews. These are introduced by Steve Kroft who was covering Obama since early 2007.
60 Minutes Presents: Obama: All Access is a nice rounded collection of what you could call Obama’s greatest hits. It touches on all the major highlights on the road to becoming the 44th President of the United States. So pick up this wonderful DVD and relive history in the making.
