Julie, well, she couldn't make it out for the second day of Lollapalooza, but I sure did, and sure glad I did.
Unfortunately, I was preoccupied with one of my top three favorite musicians of all time (G.Love), so, I wasn't able to start the happy hour right on time – but believe me, I made it back toward the end
to find a nice cold Budweiser (the official Lolla brew) waiting for me.
Maybe that was a mistake.
The temp outside was 103, so said a guy, and the heat index has to be at least three times that. YIKES. So, mixing beer and heat is not a good idea.
Drink a little. Sit down a little. Get a little sleepy. Take a nap under a tree. Miss a few songs. Kick yourself awake. Move on with the day.
