All day, all night July 23-24 at Grant Park Perry Farrell is a rock star. Period. Maybe not in the rock star ways of Mr. Billy Idol, but definitely in his own right. Thank you Perry.
The two-day festival was a great experience, and a lot of thanks goes directly to Perry for dreaming up an idea and making his dream come true – with more than 60 bands playing four stages – blending so many different brands of music into one harmonious experience. The question left burning is whether or not Chicago will be the permanent home of the festival. I wish Perry had the answer to this! “I wish I had media prophecies for you," Farrell said. "Next year, if there's a beautiful property on top of a mountain with indoor swimming pools that say come here and play here, we'll think about it." Let’s keep our fingers crossed for a return to the Midwest. Powered by AkoComment 2.0! |
