32. Mark Prior, 24 Print E-mail

Imagine being 18 years old and already being linked to the likes of Nolan Ryan and Roger Clemens. Imagine being told you are the next face of major league baseball. Imagine being the player every little leaguer says he wants to be when he grows up.

Good morning, Mark Prior.

The Cubs’ 24-year-old superstar is said to be one of the greats, yet he has not yet won 20 games in a year. That's pretty hot!

Prior is so hyped that he could probably never win a game again, yet still be one of the most popular names in the game. OK, not quite. But the point is, Prior is bigger than even himself, just through the hype placed on him at such a young age.

Even with all that hype, Prior has found a way to stay calm and collected. And cool. He is also very warm with the media and fans. He is a true Chicago Cub.

He definitely has an attitude, but rightfully so. He is a good ballplayer and will probably become a superstar player in no time.

Mark Prior is one cool dude, and I fully expect him to become even cooler with time.
