Over the last year, the Lumino staff has worked their tails off to create a reliable and entertaining Web site giving you everything you need with your cup of Joe in the morning. I think we succeeded. Our readership has jumped from a tiny 8,000 to almost 30,000 in the last year - and that, ladies and gentlemen is something to be very proud of.
It's no doubt that our daily content, added columnists, and latest additions - a full Chicago and Milwaukee calendar of music, sports, theater, and exhibits - are all keeping you all clicking away daily. You also seem to love our archive page of everything we've ever done.
With so many readers comes incentive - the incentive to do bigger, better and bolder things. In 2006, we plan to take you, our reader, where no reader has ever gone before. By the end of 2006 our goal is to double our readership, host a party in Chicago, Milwaukee, Indianapolis or Des Moines every month, and give you new content on a daily basis.
We want to keep you engaged. We want you to make Lumino Magazine your daily spot for everything. But, in order to give you everything, we are going to need your help. We need you to e-mail us, call us - whatever - to tell us your needs. We are there for you, Lumino world, but we definitely need you to continue to be there for us.
One other great addition to the Lumino world in 2006 will be a weekly newsletter. If you haven't signed up to receive it, click here This will guide you to being connected. Once you receive your newsletter, we encourage you to forward it to all your friends. This will help Lumino advance to the next level and hopefully produce a print issue in the near future.
With your help and a continued dedicated from our worldwide staff, Lumino will grow leaps and bounds in 2006. And for us reaching these goals we once again thank you for, well, making us popular. There are no more pocket protectors at LuminoMagazine.com.
Love, peace and Afro grease.
