Lumino's top concert photos of 2005 Print E-mail
Written by BARRY BRECHEISEN

It was great year for concert tours, music festivals and you could count on Lumino's 5 Senses section to be there. We covered regional festivals coast to coast, like Coachella in California and Music Midtown in Georgia. Not to forget our extensive coverage of Lollapalooza showcased this year only in our very own Windy City.

It was clearly the year the woman shined with the likes of indie-diva Liz Phair, newly solo artist Gwen Stefani and the welcome return of pianists Fiona Apple and Tori Amos.

Harder acts like Nine Inch Nails and Queens of the Stone Age allowed us to free our angst, and Rob Halford regained his throne with the metal rock gods, Judas Priest. 2005 proved Coldplay is the new U2 and U2 became an iPod.

The 80's sound was back with the help of veterans like Billy Idol, Motley Crue and new acts such as the Bravery and the Killers. So here is a collection of just a few images that made 2005 a very good year in pictures.
